It’s a New Year, and here at Harmony Gardens and Grub we have been busy in the Research and Development kitchen.
Summertime is a very sociable time here in the Southern hemisphere, with lots of BBQs, dinners, lunches, breakfasts, brunches, and general get togethers. Often people with multiple food allergies can struggle during these times, as the majority of our Western diet is based around sugar, wheat, and dairy produce.
Here at HG&G, we hope to alleviate some of that struggle, by producing foods and developing recipes which are allergy-friendly, and also which incorporate superfood ingredients, for optimal health, healing, and wellbeing.
Our latest product is a Strawberry and Turmeric bliss ball, with a cacao butter and almond butter coating, dipped in toasted hemp seeds. They are a good handful, weighing in at around 35g, so 1 or 2 is plenty for a good, filling, nutritious snack. They are full of protein, B vitamins, vitamin E, omega acids, healthy fats, healthy fibre, and anti oxidants. They are great for your heart health, for stabilising blood sugars, and for your digestive system. They are also completely delicious!
