It is almost December, and Christmas is just around the corner.
It has been a very busy and productive time here at HG&G.
The kitchen team have been making festive medicinal foods and drinks for the season. These products are perfect if you wish to be alcohol-free, and / or if you have multiple food allergies / sensitivities.
New recipes include:
Lime, ginger and canna-honey syrup: use this as a base for your mocktails. Simply add soda water, garnish with strawberries and mint leaves, and enjoy without fear of a hangover!
Bananajuana space cakes: a delicious, medicated, allergy-friendly alternative for Christmas desserts.
Canna-chocolate coconut bites: yummy bites of high-protein, medicated, coconut bar, with a medicated chocolate coating.

There has been a huge demand for the phone consultation service, and I am now fully booked up for the rest of this year.
My next available phone consultation appointment is on Monday 6 January 2025.
There are limited weekly appointments for phone consultations, so it is very important to make sure that you attend your appointment at the correct time, on the correct day.
Please note: The phone consultation fee is non-refundable.
I do not refund consultation fees when a person has not shown up for an appointment without notification.
If you know ahead of time that you cannot make your appointment, please get in touch with me to reschedule.
Last Orders dates:
The last date for making postal orders is Thursday 12 December 2024.
Any orders made after this time will be processed in January 2025.

Happy Labour Day weekend!
I hope you are enjoying your long weekend, whatever you are doing.
I have had a lovely road trip, and I thought I would share some garden pics with you.
I visited Hamilton Gardens, which I always love to do, and I was thoroughly impressed with the existing gardens, and new developments.
I spent some time in downtown Hamilton, right in the heart of the city, which is a big change for me, as I am quite a country girl 👩🌾
It was very pleasant to see so much nature, even right in the middle of the CBD. There were flowering blossom trees, garden planting, and planting all along the side of the main road. It was beautiful to look at, and also made it way more comfortable to walk, in hot temperatures. Hamilton gets quite muggy when it is hot, so the shrubbery and plantings will help keep the road cool and shady. It is so nice!
It can be tricky to travel as a medicinal cannabis consumer, especially when you have multiple food allergies or sensitivities, and I have been very inspired by my trip. I have been inspired to create a Harmony Gardens Green Fairy Travel Pack! I think this is a genius idea. 🤓🧚♀️

Harmony Gardens is going on holiday!
It has been a beautiful spring so far, and the gardens are positively blooming. My lupins, which I brought with me from Waihi Beach, are flowering in a delicate yellow, and they have grown tall and bigger than I have ever seen them 🌼. The nasturtiums are taking over, the sage is taller than me and ready to flower, and there are new wildflowers to identify.
We have been very busy in the Harmony Gardens kitchen and Green Fairy department. I would like to thank all of our customers who support our regular Pop-Ups and Canna-Cafe events. I would like to thank my regular customers for your ongoing support. Thank you very much to everybody who has referred their friends and family to us. We are very glad to see the great results and progress!
Christmas and the New Yer are only round the corner (I know, right!), and we want to be fresh and ready to help you with your festive medicinal cbd needs. So we will be taking a break from:

Yummy Superfood Workshop at Waimarama Marae
Hi everyone,
We hope that you are enjoying your Spring Solstice, and the lightening of the mornings and evenings.
Here at Harmony Gardens, it is time to clean up and re-set, after our workshop at the Waimarama Marae last weekend.
We had an amazing time! It was an honour to be invited, and a real privilege to be part of the wananga.

Birthday celebrations at the Cannabis Cafe!
Here at Harmony Gardens and Grub, we believe that life is precious and should be celebrated.
And what better way to hold a celebration, than to celebrate somebody’s birthday! So, for our July Cannabis Cafe, that’s exactly what we did 💃
This birthday celebration was for Cilla, who is a Harmony Gardens O.G.
We had a High Tea and Party Games evening, with party foods containing medicinal CBD. It was an alcohol-free event.

Harmony Gardens and Grub Cannabis Cafe
It was a beautiful day for our recent Cannabis Cafe, and I am so lucky to work in such a lovely place.
Our Cannabis Cafes are events where you can learn about medicinal cannabis, ask all of your burning questions, connect with other like-minded people, and check out new products from the Harmony Gardens R&D kitchen.
We started with a delicious CBD Golden Paste latte, while we introduced ourselves and discussed what we already knew about medicianal cbd. We talked about the cannabis plant, and identified the various different parts - fan leaf, sugar leaf, bud, terpenes. We talked about how medicinal cbd works, according to its various applications - inhaling, topical application, edibles and drinkables, and we discussed the different effect of each method. We learned about the endocannabinoid system and how our bodies require cannabinoids for optimal balance and functioning.
We also had the opportunity to sample some products, including gummies, golden paste, herby milk, spacecakes, and our new choc-nut spread.
It was lovely to meet customers in person, and have a chance to chat with you. It was great to see lively discussion, and people sharing their stories about how they are getting good results from our products.
These Cannabis Cafes are part of our work in providing education about medicinal cannabis, and about normalising it so that it can once again take its place in the mainstream, as the powerful plant healer that it is.

Harmony Gardens Pre Christmas Pop-Up
Harmony Gardens Pre Christmas Pop-up
It’s almost Christmas, and here at Harmony Gardens and Grub we have been very busy in our kitchen and Green Fairy department.
We recently held a mini pre-Christmas pop-up, to showcase our medicinal cannabis edibles and drinkables, as well as our range of medicinal oils and healing balms. Thank you to everyone who came along, listened to us talk about our mission and philosophy, tried our samples, and purchased our products.
We took our delicious gummies. They are a great sweet treat, and are all natural so they are good for your health and well-being. We made them in a couple of different medicinal strengths, to suit different needs and tolerances.
We took some of our delicious, healthy, high protein, superfood edibles. These were coconut and ginger bliss balls, our yummy turmeric spacecakes, and some tasty ginger and honey biscuits. They contain a blend of thc oil and fan leaf oil, to make the product more bio-available in your system.
We took our golden paste, which is made with either thc or cbd oil, and turmeric, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper, and Celtic salt. This paste makes a soothing, calming and relaxing medicinal chai, with additional symptom relief, when mixed with some warm non-dairy milk and honey to taste.
We took some of our special herby milk. This is a blend of coconut milk, almond milk and coconut cream, infused with fan leaf, thc, saffron, ginger, vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom, and mixed with some cannabis honey. It is especially useful in people with severe pain conditions, and also to help reset sleep.
We also had a very scrumptious syrup, used to make our canna-revitalising drink. It is made with watermelon water, simmered down with root ginger, and mixed with cannabis-infused honey. This is fantastic for recovery from sports events, injury, illness or surgery, and it is also a great alternative to alcohol. Mix it with sofa water or sparkling water, add a sprig of mint, and enjoy!

As we all know by now, Christmas is fast approaching. Here at Harmony Gardens and Grub Ltd, we are very committed to helping you to get your medicinal cannabis orders filled before the holidays.
In order to make sure that we have enough time to make up your orders and send them to you, our last day for taking orders will be:
Monday 4th December 2023.
Our last day for posting orders to get to you in time for Christmas will be:
Monday 11th December 2023.
You are very welcome to make orders outside of these times - however we cannot guarantee that your order will reach you in time for Christmas.
Please remember - if you are new to Harmony Gardens, you must complete a phone consultation before you can access our Green Fairy products. This is a medicinal service only, and it is important to complete a health assessment, including any medications you may be taking. We can then make sure you are getting the most suitable product for your unique needs, and that you are taking your products correctly, so that you get the results that you want.
Due to popular demand, we have extended our availability for phone consultations. Our last day for phone consultations for 2023 is now Wednesday 13th December. Appointment times are available at 11.30am, 12.30pm or 2.30pm.

Green Fairy Zoom Class
Green Fairies are usually lay people, or people with a health background, who are also knowledgeable and have expertise in using medicinal cannabis for healing and ongoing wellbeing. They come from all walks of life, and often have their own healing journey with cannabis. They are also usually very active in the areas of cannabis education, and also cannabis law reform.
Here at Harmony Gardens and Grub Ltd, we are dedicated to providing as much factual information as we can, on all sorts of subjects, so that our customers can be empowered to take control of their health and well-being. We are aware that there is very little education around the healing nature of cannabis, or it’s safe use, and there is still a lot of fear and stigma around its use.
If you are new to medicinal cannabis, or if you are familiar with it but you would like to know more, this is a great way to find out what you are wanting to know. It is also a safe space to connect with other medicinal cannabis users, and to share stories if you like, and ask any burning questions that are on your mind. This is a general space only, so it is not possible to discuss your individual condition or treatment- however we will discuss general conditions, such as arthiritis, PMS, depression, anxiety etc, and talk about how medicinal cannabis can help.
Our next cannabis zoom will be on Saturday October 21st, at 7.30pm. This month, we will look at:
the endocannabinoid system - what does it do, and why does it need cannabis?
Endocannabinoid deficiency - what is it, signs and symptoms, and how to treat
Differences between thc and cbd - how cbd helps the absorption of thc.
